I am a new visitor here.
I am a dad of four great kids. 3 of whom have graduated college and I have one more who is a freshman. The good news is he is on a full tuition U.S. Army ROTC scholarship, so no loans for him!

I also have loans from grad school that I attended late in life. I’m in my late 50’s and encumbered by over $180K in stafford and P-plus loans (all government).

I was out of work during the recession, but what used to be 90K in loan has mushroomed due to my procrastination. I’m finally getting an action plan into place and I’m pleased to have found this site.

Oh, my tip is don’t procrastinate!

The tip not to procrastinate is a great one. Everyone is guilty of it, but when it comes to student loans, each day you procrastinate is literally costing money!
